Philosophy and Vision

Seventh-day Adventist Schools philosophy is built on the belief that God has created each student with unique talents and abilities and through His grace and strength all His children can achieve!

It is our purpose to help students discover God’s will for their life, to develop and improve their abilities and to awaken a spirit of service by following Christ’s example. It is our vision to holistically educate our children in mind, body and spirit

Spiritual Growth

Your opportunities for spiritual growth on an Adventist campus transcend church and worship services and flood into classes, friendships and activities.

Academic Program

All students can achieve above and beyond expectations when provided with a challenging curriculum, capable teachers,cutting-edge methods, and a nurturing environment, according to the concept driving our academic program. Through opportunity, flexible grouping, and creative curriculum, we meet the unique requirements of each student. In our opinion, small class sizes and personalized instruction are the greatest learning settings for children.

Along with our core curricula, we also teach Bible, Pathfindering, Adventist Education tailored MAPEH and History.

***In the latest NAT (2024) results, BSDAS is higher than both the national and regional (CAR) average.

Active and Healthy Lifestyle

In addition to physical education classes, BSDAS also offer intramural sports days and athletic events  that encourage  students to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The school cafeteria also serves vegetarian food and sells only  healthy snacks.

Seventh-day Adventist schools place a strong value on developing Christian character in a nurturing setting. Our faculty and learners both acquire integrity, grace, respect, leadership, responsible citizenship, and personal discipline. We have replaced restrictions with school-wide norms keeping this idea in mind.

Standards

You are what you demonstrate yourself to be:

  • Be safe
  • Be responsible
  • Be respectful and kind
  • Be a good listener
  • Be your best!

Active listening and conflict resolution techniques are honed in daily class meetings. Together, teachers and students talk about the personal and academic objectives, difficulties, and successes they have.
