BSDAS hosts Dinner for a Cause

Baguio Seventh-day Adventist School-High School Department hosted a dinner on September 29, 2013 to raise funds for basketball rings for the gymnasium. The basketball rings are the HSA project for this school year.

Seeing the need of the students for a basketball court, the Home and School Association President Mr. Jamesly Andres proposed the said Dinner for a Cause as an alternate form of raising funds for the project. His fellow officers as well as the teachers accepted and supported his proposal, and like what Mr. Andres said, the dinner proved to be more effective than the usual solicitation method.

Aside from food and time for the families who attended, the dinner also provided entertainment. Some students most of whom are members of the academy choir sang to enliven the occasion. Alvin Buyagan, an alumnus, also rendered a few songs.

The others who graced the occasion were members of the Academy Board namely Mr. Rex Allen Wagayan, Atty. Ologen Dao-ayan, Mr. Jones Dengay, and some alumni.

Mrs. Mari Jane Adawan and her crew were the caterer, and Mr. Vic Byron Zarate and Miss Frances Eroa served as masters of the ceremony.
